Bridget Jones and celebrating women, matinée concerts, unexpected discoveries at BAFTA, Netflix's adaptation of The Leopard, and why the manosphere should definitely watch it.
I'm so glad that you feel positive about your first look at The Leopard, because somehow that trailer seemed lacklustre! Want to hear an update once you've gotten through it please! And who in the world can sleep through a concert? That must've been on tired dude.
The guy at the concert really needed that extra sleep 😅 I have now watched The Leopard in full and it's a bit too glossy and picture-perfect but I like how it's also managed to capture the spirit of the time, the rise of a new ambitious ruling class and the force but also subtlety that governs how Don Fabrizio conducts his affairs and himself. I wasn't initially sold on the modern twist of putting Concetta centre stage but I am now a fan.

Will we be blaspheming by not reading the book first?
No, you will be fine and hopefully the series makes you curious about the book.
I had the die-hard fans in mind when writing 😂
